What Is LECHUZA-PON?

LECHUZA-PON is a structured, pH-stable blend of pumice, lava rock, zeolite, and a slow-release fertiliser suitable for all plant types, including edibles. Unlike peat-based soil, PON does not compact, ensuring excellent root aeration and drainage. It also inhibits mould growth and repels pests naturally.

How to use PON for repotting

If your plant has outgrown its pot or the soil has become compacted, it's time to repot. PON is ideal for this task year-round. Steps:

• Remove the plant and gently shake off old soil.
• Trim dead roots and loosen the healthy ones.
• Fill the bottom of your LECHUZA planter liner with PON.
• Place the plant, then backfill around it with more PON.
• Water thoroughly from the top to activate the sub-irrigation system.
• Your plant will now self-regulate its water intake and benefit from consistent root-zone oxygen.

For new plants: start strong with PON

New houseplants thrive when started in PON thanks to its structured support and optimal hydration. Perfect for:
